Twitter is a fairly simple social networking and microblogging tool with over 250 million active users (monthly); the majority of which are on mobile devices. My Twitter account followers get direct access to newly published YouTube videos, blog articles, and status updates. I also re-tweet important Real Estate industry news and information to followers of my account.
While Twitter is great for seeing what your friends are up to, it's also a valuable source for localized news and community information. Combining cell phone geolocation search with hashtags can keep you up to date with nearby happenings that impact you most.
Google+ is a social networking and identity service strongly tied to most of Google's other online properties. My Google+ business page connects my listings and website with the ever expanding landscape of Google products and users. Authorship allows my listing posts to be tied to my website, directing visitors and traffic to my Seller's listings, not other listing aggregators.

I use social media to grow my business, but also leverage it's power to benefit my clients. Due to the low inventory of homes on the market, I've turned to social networks to discover unlisted opportunities for clients. Many of the people in my current network are or will soon be in the market to sell their home, or may know someone else who is.
